Charlotte joins Happy Tails from Ann Arbor Michigan where she was a canine behavior specialist for a large humane society. Her extensive knowledge of canine behavior and animal handling experience make her the perfect addition to the Happy Tails family.
Charlotte lives in Fraser with her husband and their 2 adopted dogs. In her free time, Charlotte volunteers with Grand County Pet Pals and walks and trains dogs at the Grand County Animal Shelter.
Having a behavior issue with your pooch? Charlotte is also available for behavior consultations.
Jacob comes to us with a strong background in animal care. Most recently he managed a pet day care and lodging facility where he was responsible for up to 70 animals at a time. He also held multiple positions at the local Humane Society in Ann Arbor, MI where he was trained extensively in animal husbandry, vaccine and medication administration, safe handling of fearful animals, reading behavior and behavior intervention. He also worked in the cruelty and rescue department handling sick/injured wildlife and assisted with cruelty investigations. Jacob has worked closely with dogs, cats, reptiles, exotic birds, small mammals, and all sorts of wildlife. It's not uncommon for fearful pets to warm up to him quickly.
Jacob likes to take his little girl Albi, a bulldog/terrier mix, on frequent day hikes and she absolutely loves to play with other dogs! They look forward to meeting you and your best friend(s)!
